The White iPhone 4 was finally unleashed to the wild worldwide yesterday, and of course, people are most interested in two things that plagued its black counterpart. Does the White version suffer from deathgrip and proximity sensor issues? iSpazio did some tests.

Per Macrumors, “According to iSpazio, the white iPhone 4 exhibits excellent proximity sensor performance, responding immediately to turn off the device’s display when covered but then also keeping the display off until a finger or head is a “relatively large distance” away.”
As per the deathgrip issue that unleashed antennagate to the world, it seems like the issue is still there. Rumors swirled that Apple was fixing this issue and thus the multiple delays of the device. iSpazio made it clear to note though that it’s improved a little bit.
They can’t tell if anything changed internally parts wise. We’ll wait until iFixit.com does their thorough teardown of the device to see what exactly changed in the innards of the White iPhone 4. For now, let me ask you this, did you get one?
