Many companies aspire to be and have what Apple is right now. Imagine your product being delayed almost a year. Do you think it’ll still be welcomed with open arms? Apparently the answer to that with regard to White iPhone 4 is a resounding YES:

“Apple’s been seen increasing shipping estimates for online orders in several countries to five business days, an increase from the previous estimate of 3-5 days. If you place a white iPhone 4 order via the online Apple store in Italy, UK, Spain, France, Ireland and many other countries, you’ll have to wait at least five business days for delivery.”
I’ve trekked out the Glendale Galleria store to see what it’s like, and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a line. Even though the iPhone 5 is delayed, it’s only delayed until the Fall. I don’t understand why people wouldn’t just wait a couple more months? Unless you have a broken one, or really want a White iPhone, wait for the next gen device!
